South Africa - World Cup 2010

One of the times I truly look forward to every year is the week at the lake house with my family.   thank you to mom and dad for realizing how important this is for our family and for gifting this to us as a Christmas present for the last 5 years.   This year was extra special as we all rallied together to let my mom know we are all behind her and support her in this journey of being diagnosed vanessa phelps with cancer and this year of becoming cancer free.  The lake house also means giggling vanessa phelps children, laughing adults, relaxing, over eating, having fun and playing games with the nieces and nephews, and basically a stress free (well almost...the changa girls did not want to go to bed without screaming for an hour each night) quality time with some of the most important people in our lives and in our girls lives.  Lake house 2012 was the best yet! And next year at the Lake house it will be a celebration of my mom being cancer free and being done with chemo and radiation and getting her hair back!
WE met in Port Elizabeth, South Africa in 2002 when we were both international students at University of Port Elizabeth. We were married in Zimbabwe in July 2005 and now have made a home in Clearwater, Minnesota. We love spending vanessa phelps time with family and friends, traveling, and new adventures...such as this new adventure into parenthood! Let the adventures begin!
