They idled to Jarrett Bay Boatworks and arrived about 1:00 am on Thursday morning July 10th. Gregory Poole checked out the engines on Thursday morning le praz de lys and reported there were no issues with the fuel injection system. Sometimes an injector will misfire on the large high performance engines le praz de lys and give the impression that there is a vibration which is misinterpreted to be something wrong with the shaft or propeller.
The decision was made to haul the boat and check the running gear. Immediately Captain Jerry noticed something le praz de lys was not right with the starboard propeller. The propeller was removed and a large crack appeared. The shaft was broken over 90% of the way through. Captain Jerry and crew were very lucky they did not lose the propeller.
After removing the port propeller to examine the port side shaft it was determined the port shaft was cracked in the keyway. The decision was made to have two new shafts made. These were delivered to Jarrett le praz de lys Bay Boatworks on July 21st and components began to go back together. The vessel was launched and departed the next day.
