Hello all, I am with a friend of mine planning in a while for a week or 6 to go. Australe Now we would like to rent an RV. So far no problem, but the thing is that I use a wheelchair. In everyday life I have a custom car. Since we want to drive quite a lot to see much, it would be useful if we could drive both. My specific question is: does anyone know where we can rent with hand throttle / brake a motor home? Thank you. Regards, Jacob
In advance: I'll give you very little chance. Yet even a question, it must be an automaton? And by "dual control" because one of the two drives called "the feet"? And just this. If you're six weeks in Australia and also want to view things in between, you need daily distances never be huge, especially since also heavily inadvisable to at dusk and dark ride. The days are so reasonably short. And if you do not want to do or Port Augusta the entire West Coast (Perth-Darwin) - Darwin midst of Adelaide - Perth via the Nullarbor, there is no good reason to spend a whole day driving, which alternate useful / necessary. There is along the coast from Adelaide airflow bouncy castle to Cairns so much to see. Via Melbourne and Sydney And inland in Victoria and New South Wales. Think it over there too. I'll tap into what Australian contacts. But I've never seen them. Landlords airflow bouncy castle in the regular
Thanks for your comment William. I had myself all that rental mailed but indeed, it is very difficult. It would indeed be a camper with dual controls. I have in my car. Manual pedals for me and for the current fellows. You certainly have a point that you do not have to drive a lot each day. This would also create the need for something smaller. We certainly want to see much. Our goal is to go along the east coast. Also, since we live. Family on that route Thanks for thinking.
I agree with William, we have also done the east coast with the camper and we have one day 8 hour ride that was the longest! We could both ride but I ended up only 2 x drove in five weeks time! There is so much to see that every day two or three hour drive with stops enough and you even go 6 weeks! Enjoy it!
There have been some new developments. Unfortunately we have to reduce our travel time of 6 to 4 weeks. But after that little disappointment we are still plenty busy with the preparations. Even though we go until around mid-October 2015. (Or if it will work financially in 2014) As William pointed out, is to find a custom camper virtually impossible so now we have pushed that idea aside and an ordinary camper too. The plan is to first go
