1 May was a long day: anchors twice before locks and then a third time before the bridge Norfolk we missed a few minutes before closing time for rush hour (two hours of waiting) . Finally, we anchored at mile 0 of the Intracoastal, outside the hospital in Norfolk, as we had traveled all the Dismal Swamp Canal on the same day.
