Sunday, the weather is nice, we find Clement and Anne in a park with other expats: Bertrand, sports

June 3, 2013, we left our little anchorage Little Bay. The sky is kind of threatening but we must raise the Potomac and its meanders to reach the capital, Washington. Changing winds, grains, one of which we watered copiously. It is well inland waterways but it takes a lot of work if you do not want to start the engine. We finally sports challet arrived in Breton Bay. It is surrounded by beautiful huts with private docks. sports challet
A little windy the day but in the pif. Because training in shooting, navy asks us to avoid an area. They clog almost the entire river. We'll see shots get in the water splash shots aligned, provided they know what they are doing! sports challet We may be the answer to all the dead fish we see in the river, or not .... We finally anchored 15 miles from Washington. Up very early the next day to enjoy the current amount. It is freezing sports challet cold, surrounded by wild geese, sports challet a mist lining the river at sunrise. Great show! Some daring sinners pass on their boats flat bottom and large motors. Passing under the bridge and here we are in Washington. The anchorage is in the city. $ 10 a night to leave the annex, and have internet access to showers, top because you can not really use the river water for our toilet. The only downside is the constant flying of helicopters for Coast Guard, the FBI, Secret Service (Transportation, sports challet leaders of the world) ... Maybe President Obama flew over the Capado? Bikes unfolded, one street downtown.
The program of the day, the tour memorials: Jefferson, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Martin Luther King, and Lincoln. A quick tour through the White House, but not for Obama. A Smisthon, British citizen who has never set foot in the USA, bequeathed his entire fortune to the U.S. government to create a center for knowledge transfer. This gave birth to bequeath Smisthonian museums. With this voucher Smisthon all the museums are great and free. So we attack the Natural History Museum. A wing on the oceans, another on the dinos, the evolution of mammals. Really nice, even with all the lively children in every way, it is the school holidays. Renwick Galery to see some traditional American furniture. We then find Anne Lise (cousin of Hadrian) and Christopher, her fiance, a Mexican sports challet dinner in the Adams Morgan neighborhood.
Even in the rain, it attacks the Air and Space Museum. There is so much to see that the Air in the morning and throughout the history of aviation and space in the afternoon. There is still a bit of propaganda against the Russian and the Cold War.
The first tropical depression of the season, too early, is expected on the coast today. After Sandy (a year earlier), Americans are very fearful, infrastructure is not or poorly adapted, when it blows, a disaster is soon here. We are far from robust Breton ports. Finally, we will not see the rain (yet) Andrea (name given by cyclones). Stroll around the Capitol and the train station. American history museum with any American life and its evolution. A little civil war, conquest of the West with little sorry for the Indians, world wars, the development of marine sports challet and road transport with a large parking place which will shape the American way of life (Everything can be done without leaving the car, cinema, withdraw money, sports challet take a fast food, post his mail ....).
Found Anne and Clément (France friends came to settle on this side of the Atlantic). Since the time we spoke to find, it's nice. Walk in the Adams Morgan neighborhood, a small beer Adams Morgan before a good pizza on a rooftop. Back to the bike with a trip to the Lincoln Memorial to do some night shots. Was a lull when it is absolutely necessary to enjoy it.
Sunday, the weather is nice, we find Clement and Anne in a park with other expats: Bertrand, sports challet Eva and Christille. We try to Slack line (tightrope walking), not obvious, sports challet we tremble sports challet like leaves, yet when Clement and Anne make, it looks so easy.
Washington was a really intense trip and bikes have once again been the perfect tool. Museums are really impressive and re colonization of the city by the disappointed suburbs good. In short, we really liked this stage.
The boat, John the Baptist (cousin and older brother Adrien Anne Lise) and Molly boarded with their packages. Lise Anne and Christopher go for a drink. It is 8:00, it rains (as weird), it goes to the dock full of water and a final shower and leaves Washington Capado
