Kuohu Stout | Blog about beer and homebrewing
Offtopic a bit technical: a few hours fly to Chelyabinsk (wedding at the other, and with people at the same time to see), and then just a couple of days after returning home to nominate a new way - to Barcelona, Mallorca and thence back through Stockholm and Tallinn. Will explore the major beer place! ,) In this regard, in June, I can not guarantee regular updatable blog, but still try to make sure that new posts come out. I did some "blanks" with the recent beer tastings, will build upon the entry to the posts and publish them somewhere along the way :)
Well, today will tell you more about one beer from microbreweries Finnish Mallaskosken from among those that are approved for sale in the ordinary Finnish supermarkets (not more than 4.7% alc.). I recall, then took their pale ale and stout, pale ale and was not impressed, but the stout was a little more interesting ...
Beer color almost black, barely translucent ruby, foam average resembles coffee. The aroma is consistent with the foam he also coffee, though not the brightest, koocanusa but with a slight touch of smoked meat.
On the palate, coffee house with barely-sourish burnt tones and something elusive fried-smoked like salami added here. However, not very rich, but well balanced. At the finish of a burning koocanusa sensation-hop bitterness. The body of the beer light, carbonation koocanusa below average by the middle glass appears a certain sense of watery (as, indeed, it is often in the Irish Stout).
