June 27, 2014. Friday. Aegina to Athens It is for me an anti-climax to, at all the islands, the boring way to summarize Athens. It's foggy and hazy and the air and water are polluted. I think my mind and my body is polluted. My mind and body have a need to get free. My mind is just as murky as the water. Aegina fisherman swift route to Athens The city gets closer and it looks like a jungle of concrete. The landmark of our marina is the Olympic Stadium. We get our moorings and marinaspan is very helpful and fixed us. Jungle of concrete Olympic Stadium Saturday, leaving Dirk and Rika us and I Archie and download a large batch of laundry in a large backpack and get the train into town. We were the batch spotless at the Laundromat. Everything must be clean and douvars for my sister, Elize and her friend, Annette echoing Monday at us. Backpack full of clothes, we will use our days in Athens to explore the city, to rest and sit on Mayan and sweat.
