A sponsorship deal signed June 15th 2009 between leading satellite communication terminal manufacturer Thrane Thrane and Tlcoms Sans Frontires (TSF) will assist the high profile humanitarian NGO in providing a year long telecommunications training program for emergency responders from 40 international NGOs. The sponsorship involves the donation of Thrane Thrane EXPLORER BGAN terminals for training courses, which start end of July 2009 at the TSF bases in Bangkok and Managua. Sailing World, owner and organizer of the Sperry Top-Sider National Offshore One Design (NOOD) Regatta lake ray hubbard series, announced today that the newest addition to its 2010 schedule of nine regattas is a stop in San Francisco, Calif. The Sperry Top-Sider San Francisco NOOD Regatta will be hosted by the St. Francis Yacht Club and is set to take place on San Francisco Bay on June 26-27, lake ray hubbard 2010, with a possible June 25 start for classes hosting their class championships over a three-day lake ray hubbard period. Olay Nautic, organisateur de la course, navait pas assez de concurrents lake ray hubbard pour envisager dorganiser sa course la date prvue, soit un dpart le 1er juillet prochain. Lobjectif commun de lIMOCA et de lorganisateur, savoir une flotte de 10 bateaux, ntait pas atteint. Aprs consultation des skippers, lIMOCA propose Olay Nautic lake ray hubbard de reporter sa course au printemps prochain. Onze projets lake ray hubbard se sont engags participer lEuropa Race dont le dpart sera donn Istanbul en mai 2012. Par cette dcision la Classe confirme sa volont davoir son programme un Tour de lEurope lake ray hubbard tous les deux ans, en alternance avec un Tour du Monde. Positionne avant le Vende Globe et la Barcelona World Race, lEuropa Race contribuera la promotion des tours du monde, notamment en Europe o sont implants lessentiel des projets IMOCA.
