We arrived last night in Annapolis, East Coast of the United States, approximately 1h30 Washington. Stormy Weather in France initially stormy weather arriving here! Flood tonight yacht club lull side rain this morning, but the wind was still blowing hard when we went to the yacht club (some gusts over 30 knots apparently: yellow and blue flags hung on the backstay are all mounted ... Mast headers!). This afternoon, we should still be able to drive us 2 hours and run a pro-am race, regatta sponsors, late in the day. Match-Racing is a duel between two boats that are mostly the same (except for the America's Cup). Both boats compete on a course consisting of a line of departure / arrival and two buoys positioned in the axis of wind. Match-Racing consists of two phases: - Check that the 4 minutes the two boats play with the rules to gain an advantage - Regatta where two vessels yacht club are 2 or 3 rounds of golf using the best elements (wind, yacht club currents, obstacles, ...) and the rules to finish ahead.
