On nashoba valley March 3, 2015 the West Parry Sound Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single snowmobile collision on Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs (OFSC) Trail 400 near 408 in Carling Township.
Carling Fire Department assisted Parry Sound District Emergency Medical Services (EMS) with attending to the driver, a 31 year old female from Etobicoke. EMS transported the driver of the snowmobile to hospital where she was later pronounced deceased.
On March 3, 2015 the West Parry Sound Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Carling Fire Department and Parry Sound District Emergency Medical Services attended a fatal snowmobile collision on Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs (OFSC) nashoba valley Trail 400 near 408 in Carling Township. The trail has been reopened.
(WEST PARRY SOUND, ON) West Parry Sound Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated a fatal collision involving a snowmobile on Ontario Federation of Snowmobile nashoba valley Clubs (OFSC) Trail 400 near 408 in Carling Township. At the time of the collision it was snowing heavily and the snowmobile involved in the collision was following the lead snowmobile.
Police have concluded that the driver left the trail and struck a tree. Speed, the weather as well as being the second of two snowmobiles which affected the operator s visibility appear to be factors in the collision.
