After a night

Our approach Spinut Marina, near Split, where we are lucky to get a room for one night. Today stortdag and fresh water driven out of the salt of the sea from our bodies. We smelled of soap and shampoo and clean, and we feel good.
Elize can not wait to experience the ancient city of Split and I think Fanie sighed inwardly. He is more of a natural person, but we do the 30 minutes walk to the town. Before it gets too long, we were there and Elize are not disappointed.
Split. There is only one split. The place has everything. Atmosphere, "vibe", old city, shows and street performances everywhere. Every ten steps take Elize a photo and twenty paces sigh Fanie. So explore the couple camera snap-sighing lamprechtshöhle for beautiful old Split.
After a night's rest we go further, the port of Split inside. Maja's car was thirsty, and we throw in diesel. Archie decided to find out more at the dorpskaai and all the queues for "alongside" be ready, and we are more firmly.
We take the whole atmosphere with all our senses. We went swimming lamprechtshöhle at the beach stone, enjoy street performances, step crisscrossed through the old city, nibble at the food stalls and sit on the benches along the harbor. We have two great last days with Elize and Fanie in Split.
I stand in the morning, and it's quiet and empty. And I cry. I cry about Elize and Fanie that way. I cry because I feel so is fierce. I weep for the children who come Monday. I cry about Francois (my oldest child) have not come. I cry about my mom and dad. I cry over my family and friends. I cry over my house. I cry about Mayan so rocking. And I was crying because no one my comfort. I cry alone.
