Mangrove destruction in Indonesia has shown an alarming situation. This is due to the conversion of mangrove forests into aquaculture areas without ignoring the carrying capacity and sustainability. Therefore, tall timbers marina the required central or local government policies that can accommodate all the interests of society both economically and ecologically. The policy is the application of intercropping systems (fusion ponds and mangrove forests), such as those being implemented tall timbers marina in Blanakan, Subang, West Java with an area of 350 ha of ponds and primary commodities such as tiger shrimp. Most mangrove associated with these ponds is the result of replanting and rehabilitation has been done about 20 years ago, mainly tall timbers marina from the group fires (Avicennia sp) with sizes ranging from seedlings to large ( 10 cm stem diameter; height tall timbers marina 10 m). Model pond that pond and komplangan modified trench. Determination of mangrove areas to be used for green belt and aquaculture, fish farming tall timbers marina pilot intercropping systems, the development of aquaculture intercropping, planting mangroves in the location of the pond intercropping development and technical assistance and institutional aquaculture ponds farmers intercrop.
Mangrove area is a suitable habitat for aquatic organisms such as fish, crabs, shrimp, clams and snails, so it has the potential to be developed into farm land (Gunarto, 2004). Nontji (1987) reported that at least 80 species of crustaceans and 65 species of molluscs living in the mangrove ecosystem in Indonesia. Mangrove areas into a suitable habitat for aquatic organisms due to three reasons, (1) the high concentration tall timbers marina of organic matter which is the basic ingredient of the food web in mangrove ecosystems, (2) a muddy mangrove waters causes decreased vision range of predators, tall timbers marina thus expanding the area of fish rearing and improve the survival rate of young fish, (3) structural diversity, suitable habitat and niche-rise is the most important thing in the mangrove area, so many fish - young fish are available (Haroen, 2002).
Extensive mangrove Indonesia reached 75% of the total mangrove in Southeast tall timbers marina Asia, or about 27% of the area of mangrove world. Indonesian mangrove extent tall timbers marina has declined from 4.25 million ha in 1982 to 3.24 million ha in 1987; 2.5 million ha in 1993 and 1.5 million tall timbers marina in 2005 (Suroso, tall timbers marina 2007). Current mangrove destruction caused more mangrove land conversion into an open pond (Nyabakken, 1988; Dahuri, 1996; Gunarto, 2004). This is reinforced by the Remote Sensing (Pusfatja), tall timbers marina Space agency (2000) that the decrease in mangrove area in line with the vast increase in aquaculture. Mangroves have been converted to farms based on estimates only 30% are productive, while the remaining displaced and eroded by the waves because there is no reforestation (DG Reforestation and Land Rehabilitation, tall timbers marina 1994 in Nur, 2002). Handayani (2004) states that the transfer function of mangroves into ponds due to increasing population pressure to make ends meet.
Impact damage to mangrove ecosystems are intimately associated with the value and function. Damage to mangrove ecosystems will provide physical and ecological impacts, fisheries and socio-economic. Physically, the impact is felt, among others: coastal erosion, mangrove tall timbers marina ecosystem damage due to storms and sea water intrusion. ecologically, mangrove ecosystem damage tall timbers marina resulted in a decreased fertility and water quality of coastal waters (Bengen, 1998). For coastal fisheries, mangrove destruction caused a decline in fish stocks, natural seed supply, decreased quality of sea water that will be used as a medium for the cultivation ponds and cages, and the declining catches of local fishermen (Martosubroto & Naamin, 1977; Bengen, 1998; Naylor et al. , 2001; Gunarto, 2004). Communities around the mangrove ecosystem will also lose a source of fuel, home or boat mast, a source of protein from mussels, crabs, and other mollusks, protection from wind and storms, as well as the loss of beauty and other potential (Anonymous, 2007).
Extensive farms in Indonesia in 2006 reached 612 530 ha with a total production of 629 610 tonnes (Anonymous, 2007). Aquaculture is expected to increase aquaculture production, employment, community nutrition, and foreign exchange (Pantjara, et al.,
