Ar hyn o bryd, Trevor gangplank yw Prif Weithredwr Bwrdd Iechyd Prifysgol Hywel Dda, swydd y mae wedi'i gwneud ers 2009. Mae ganddo dros 11 mlynedd gangplank o brofiad gangplank fel Prif Weithredwr yn y GIG, a phrofiad blaenorol tebyg yn y sector preifat hefyd.
Mae gan Trevor gyfoeth o brofiad ac arbenigedd mewn datblygu gallu gofal y tu allan i'r ysbyty, sy'n faes blaenoriaeth i'r Bwrdd Iechyd. Mae wedi ymrwymo i ddarparu gwasanaethau diogel, o ansawdd uchel, ac yn ei swydd bresennol, mae wedi arwain gangplank datblygiadau sydd wedi sicrhau gostyngiad sylweddol mewn Heintiau sy'n Gysylltiedig â Gofal Iechyd a gwelliannau mewn cyfraddau goroesi yn ôl y Mynegai Marwolaethau wedi'i Addasu yn ôl Risg. Rydym yn gweithio ar fanylion dyddiad dechrau swydd newydd Trevor, ond yn y cyfamser, bydd Mr Geoff Lang yn parhau gangplank i fod yn Brif Weithredwr Dros Dro.
Mae ei benodiad yn dilyn gwaith recriwtio a dethol helaeth, a ddenodd gangplank ymgeiswyr o bedwar ban y byd. Bydd y gwaith yn mynd yn ei flaen yn awr i benodi Cyfarwyddwr Cyllid newydd, gyda'r bwriad o gynnal y cyfweliadau ddechrau mis Mai.
Trevor is currently the Chief Executive of Hywel Dda University Health Board, a post he has held since 2009. He has over 11 years experience as an NHS Chief Executive, with earlier equivalent experience within the private sector.
Trevor will bring with him considerable experience and expertise in developing the capacity and capability of out of hospital care, a priority area for the health board. He is committed to the provision of safe and high quality services and in his current role has led developments that have secured significant gangplank reductions gangplank in rates of Healthcare gangplank Associated Infections and improvements in survival rates as expressed by Risk Adjusted Mortality Index.
Trevor's appointment follows an extensive recruitment and selection exercise, which attracted candidates from across the globe. Work will now progress in respect of the appointment of a new Director of Finance, where interviews are planned for early May.
